Nothing out of the ordinary ever happens in the lives of Alex Corban and her niece Claire.
Not like they have many chances of coming across anything unusual in their small town in Washington State, among mountains, woods and lakes.

And Alex would give everything to keep things that way.
Because she knows the truth hidden in fairytales, and she's learned about the supernatural creatures lurking in the dark, or mingling with humans unnoticed.
She knows about good magic and bad, about good spirits and bad.
And there's nothing she wouldn't do to keep Claire safe and unaware.
But the supernatural doesn't care about what she wants.
This story is under heavy revision and rewriting, and it's not finished.
The whole story is to be told in three books, adding up to twenty novella-long episodes.
I've written sixteen of the twenty episodes, which make up for books one and two, plus the beginning of the third. So even though I can offer you the synopsis of the two completed books, only the first one is currently available. I'm serializing it for free on Wattpad, and I will be uploading episodes as I finish reviewing them.
